The Story of Our Lives
World Health Organization
Genomics is the study of our complete set of DNA: the instructions for how our bodies function. Genomics reveals how genetic variations can influence a person’s health, response to treatments and susceptibility to diseases. In a world where health disparities persist, equitable access to genomics is crucial.

Genomics has the potential to reshape how we understand humanity and define the future of global health. But first, it needs to be understood. So, we were briefed to communicate genomics to the world.

‘The Story of Our Lives’ is a global campaign centered around a hero film. At the heart of this film is a simple analogy that every one of us is a unique book, filled with pages that describe why we are the way we are. Genomics being the study of these pages.

The film, and surrounding launch campaign, was translated into nine languages and launched through a set of downloadable toolkits for global markets to use in their own countries and health communities.
